Welcome to the Cultured Cat Corner
My name is Juliette, and I am your hostess for an exploration of cats in culture--contemporary and historical. My page is a work in progress and will be frequently growing and changing. Check in often.
To tell you a little about myself, I am a calico Persian who lives with author, Judith Erwin. I like long naps, cozy boxes, tuna fish, and helping Judith write.
The mission of the Cultured Cat Corner is to showcase the role cats play in society. Included will be fun quizzes, images, and interesting facts.

A charming litter of kittens captured by New Hampshire photographer Charles E. Bullard around the turn of the nineteenth century. In his lifetime, Bullard took over 500 hundred photos of cats that were used on postcards, calendars, and sold individually to patrons. Originally a portrait photographer, Bullard found greater financial success with his images of cats.
